Mohammed Youssef, Osteopath (B.Sc. Kinesiology, M.OMSc.)
Mohammed is a Canadian-trained osteopath with a 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, where he studied under Dr. Stuart McGill, a world-renowned expert in spine biomechanics and low back health. He went on to complete his 4-year Master’s in Osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a leading principles-based osteopathic program in Canada.
With over three years of clinical experience, Mohammed has practiced in Canada and now brings his expertise to Dubai. He works with patients of all ages — from children to older adults — addressing concerns such as back pain, neck tension, headaches, posture-related issues, restricted movement, and acute pain.
Mohammed applies a broad range of osteopathic techniques including cranial-sacral, visceral, structural, functional, myofascial release, muscle energy, strain-counterstrain, and gentle manipulation. His approach is rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of osteopathy, who taught that “to find health should be the objective of the doctor; anyone can find disease.” In practice, this means Mohammed focuses on identifying and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself by improving motion, balance, and circulation throughout all body systems.
Warm, attentive, and detail-oriented, Mohammed takes time to understand each patient’s unique story and designs personalized treatments that restore comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
